the advanced Baggage Handling System (BHS), which occupies an area of approx. 13,800 sqm, fitted with the most sophisticated radiogenic control equipment and capable of handling 3,200 bags per hour, making operations quicker and easier; |

the generously-sized Passenger Terminal R, located between the railway station and the multi-storey car park, which makes it possible to decongest the main terminal during the busiest periods; the adequate number of hand luggage checkpoints help to quicken security-related operations. |
