‘PIEMONTE IN YOUR HANDS’, THE NEW TOURIST PROMOTION AREA OPENS AT THE NEW LEVEL ARRIVALS OF TORINO AIRPORT
'Piemonte in your hands' has been officially inaugurated today, Wednesday, November 20th at 12.00, the new tourist promotion space of the Piedmont area, coordinated by Turismo AlpMed and Booking Piemonte, in synergy with the Piedmont Region, VisitPiemonte, Turismo Torino and Provincia, Municipality and Chamber of Commerce of Turin at the new Arrivals Level of Torino Airport.
Present at the inauguration event were Andrea Andorno, CEO of Torino Airport; Alberto Cirio, President of the Piedmont Region; Vittoria Poggio, Regional Councilor for Tourism; Alberto Sacco, Councilor for Tourism and Trade of the City of Turin; Luigi Barbero, AlpMed Tourism President; Andrea Talaia, Vice-president of the Turin Chamber of Commerce; Maria Luisa Coppa, president of Ascom Torino and member of the Board of the CRT Foundation.
The objective of the information point ‘Piedmont in your hands’ is to consolidate the tourism sector and strengthen the link between Torino Airport and the territory. Within this space, therefore, an extensive information activity will be carried out for passengers in transit, an activity to promote tourist events in Piedmont and there will be the possibility of an intense involvement of the business and productive realities of the excellence of our region . 'Piemonte in your hands' is an operational space not only to provide tourist information, but also for the sale of tourist services. Directly upon arrival at the airport it will be possible for visitors to purchase return ticket for Turin shuttles, book individual transfers and use the services of the Booking Piemonte portal, such as hotel room bookings, meals, vacation package purchase .
