PPR System General Aviation
To operate at Torino Airport, all general aviation flights, aerial work and commercial flights (aerotaxi) operated with aircraft having capacity up to 19 seats, with the exception of aircrafts based at Turin airport having hangar availability, states flights, humanitarian, ambulance and emergency flights, must request prior authorization (PPR-Prior Permission Required) to the Airport Operator (SAGAT SpA) at least 2 hours earlier than the estimated arrival time (ETA) by entering the GASM system.
Through the access to the Reserved Area of GASM system the carrier/owner or the Handler that assists the flight can manage their own PPR requests. This includes the possibility of:
- Submit their PPR request to the airport operator;
- Modify and / or delete such requests;
- Consult the PPR history and status.
The GASM system must be used also to give the Airport Operator notice of flights not subject to the PPR, before arrival or departure of the flight.
For a detailed description of the features and how to use the system, see the "User Manual - General Aviation Slot Management".
Operating procedures and rules for general aviation flights are available on the Airport Regulations and AIP AD 2 LIMF.
