SAGAT

According to the Italian Legislative Decree n. 18/99, since 2001 all handling services (i.e., ground handling of passengers, goods and aircrafts) are no longer carried out directly by airport management companies, by virtue of the market liberalization.

On 1 October 2001, SAGAT Handling S.p.A., 100% controlled by SAGAT, was set up to manage ground handling services.

Two ground handling companies are currently present at Torino Airport: SAGAT Handling and Aviapartner.
