Mission

Torino Airport works to manage the airport infrastructure and operations in an energy-efficient way (consuming less and less energy), avoiding the waste of resources (reducing waste and recovering those produced) and inspiring every action to respect the environment (reduce water consumption and reuse it, reduce noise emissions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pollutants in the atmosphere) to the best of their ability.

Strategy

Implementing direct interventions and involving its employees, the airport community, commercial partners, suppliers, passengers to create the Turin Green Airport as well as collaborating internationally with all the players who share the same objectives.

Turin Airport joined ACI Europe's Net Zero protocol in 2019 and brought forward its commitment to achieve this ambitious goal to 2040 in 2024 by creating a structured roadmap of interventions aimed at eliminating its emissions. In 2024, it also obtained Level 3+ (Neutrality) accreditation from the ACA Airport Carbon Accreditation program, becoming carbon neutral. In 2022, it signed the Toulouse Declaration, confirming its commitment to environmental sustainability.
