Waste

The frequency of collection of urban waste and similar to urban waste (Code CER 20.03.01), from the numerous points (containers and / or ecological islands) present in the airport, is increased up to twice a day in the winter periods, characterized by high numbers of charter flights.

  • Differentiation of paper, glass, plastic, cans, toner, rubber, iron, WEEE (waste from electrical and electronic equipment), waste oils produced both directly by SAGAT and by all the activities based at the airport.
  • Application of construction site management methods aimed at minimizing the waste produced by maximizing the reuse of demolition materials.
