'Piemonte in your hands' has been officially inaugurated today, Wednesday, November 20th at 12.00, the new tourist promotion space of the Piedmont area, coordinated by Turismo AlpMed and Booking Piemonte, in synergy with the Piedmont Region, VisitPiemonte, Turismo Torino and Provincia, Municipality and Chamber of Commerce of Turin at the new Arrivals Level of Torino Airport.

Present at the inauguration event were Andrea Andorno, CEO of Torino Airport; Alberto Cirio, President of the Piedmont Region; Vittoria Poggio, Regional Councilor for Tourism; Alberto Sacco, Councilor for Tourism and Trade of the City of Turin; Luigi Barbero, AlpMed Tourism President; Andrea Talaia, Vice-president of the Turin Chamber of Commerce; Maria Luisa Coppa, president of Ascom Torino and member of the Board of the CRT Foundation.

The objective of the information point ‘Piedmont in your hands’ is to consolidate the tourism sector and strengthen the link between Torino Airport and the territory. Within this space, therefore, an extensive information activity will be carried out for passengers in transit, an activity to promote tourist events in Piedmont and there will be the possibility of an intense involvement of the business and productive realities of the excellence of our region . 'Piemonte in your hands' is an operational space not only to provide tourist information, but also for the sale of tourist services. Directly upon arrival at the airport it will be possible for visitors to purchase return ticket for Turin shuttles, book individual transfers and use the services of the Booking Piemonte portal, such as hotel room bookings, meals, vacation package purchase .

Passengers are informed that, for extraordinary maintenance work on the RA 10 connection with the airport "Turin-Caselle" 10 from 3/09/2019 until 7/09/2019 the road system will be temporarily modified, with alternate closure of the traffic lanes as well as the entry ramps at exit no. 3 and at exit no. 1. The changes could increase the driving time to reach the airport.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines announces the new direct weekly connection between Turin and Copenhagen. The new flight will be operated every Saturday starting from 21 December 2019, until 21 March 2020. The schedule includes departure from Copenhagen at 8:25 am and arrival in Turin at 10:30 am; the departure from Turin is instead scheduled at 11:30 am, arriving in the Danish destination at 1:35 pm.
 
The connection is designed in an incoming perspective for the target of Scandinavian skiers and will contribute to increasing the number of winter sports enthusiasts from Denmark and the Scandinavian peninsula, who reach the ski destinations of the North-Western Alps. The new flight will also be available to the Piedmontese who will decide to take this opportunity of a direct service to Copenhagen to visit a destination with a consolidated tourist appeal: the Danish capital has always been an important cultural, artistic and university center and its historic center is among the most interesting in Northern Europe.
 
From Copenhagen, moreover, there is a wide choice for passengers who wish to continue their flight to other destinations: from the Danish airport the possible connections to the entire Scandinavian peninsula, served with easily accessible timetables, are particularly interesting.

The Shareholders' Meeting of SAGAT S.p.A. met today for the approval of the SAGAT Group's 2018 Financial Statements, which closed with a net profit of 7 million 689 thousand euros and appointed Elisabetta Oliveri as Chairman, for a three-year term. The Shareholders' Meeting also appointed the other members of the Board of Directors, whose mandate will last three years and which is therefore composed as follows: Elisabetta Oliveri (President), Andrea Andorno, Rita Ciccone, Jean Jacques Dayries, Antonio Lubrano Lavadera , Paolo Mignone, Laura Pascotto, Daniele Rizzolini.

Wizz Air launches the new flight Turin-Krakow from August 3rd and increases the frequencies of the Turin-Bucharest connection.

The Turin-Krakow flight will be scheduled twice a week, with operations on Tuesday and Saturday. The schedule includes departure from Krakow at 6.30 pm and arrival in Turin at 8.25 pm; the departure from Turin is instead scheduled at 9.00 pm, with arrival in the Polish destination at 10.55 p m. Sales are open starting today, March 20th, with rates starting at € 19.99, available on the company's website wizzair.com or on the carrier's app. 

Moreover, starting from May 23rd, the low cost carrier increases the frequencies of the Turin-Bucharest connection: the service becomes three-weekly, with the addition of a frequency on Thursday, in addition to those already in place on Tuesday and Saturday. 

Caselle Torinese, 24th January 2019 – Andrea Andorno is the new Chief Executive Officer of SAGAT SpA. The Board of Directors of SAGAT S.p.A., controlled by F2i, the biggest infrastructural Italian fund and SAGAT's shareholder with 90.28% shares through 2i Aeroporti, met today and appointed Andrea Andorno to the role of CEO, in place of Roberto Barbieri, since last 15th January CEO of Gesac - Naples Airport.

Andorno acquired extensive experience in the aviaton sector and transportation industry over the years: between 2013 and 2018 he was Chief Commercial Officer of Air Italy/Meridiana. Before, between 2003 and 2012, he covered managerial roles in Alitalia Group, where he was Vice President Finance and Director Network & Fleet Planning.
